Research
The goal of the Research Core is to promote and support research efforts in women’s health. Part of our mission is to develop a broad research agenda that stimulates and supports the investigation of women's unique health needs across the life span. The CoE continues to be active in clinical and basic research activities.
The CoE, in partnership with the UMMC's Office of Research and the Clinical Research Program continue to enhance communication and encourage collaboration across disciplines and institutions, promote interdisciplinary research projects and encourage exploration of additional areas of synergy within the academic community. The Research Core works with the Office of Research and the Clinical Research Program to establish a more reliable method to clearly identify all grants and research projects that are gender-based or related to women's health.
